From CATT member contractors using the Bid Alerts program:
• Name and business name
• Mobile phone number
• Trade(s) you have selected to receive bid alerts in
• CATT membership status
This information is collected when you:
• Submit a form on our website
• Text BID to (530) 536-1115 to start a homeowner/property owner bid request, or text CONTRACTOR to (530) 536-1115 to start CATT Bid Alerts enrollment as a CATT member contractor.
• Communicate with CATT via phone, text, or email
• Opt in as a CATT member to receive bid alerts in one or more trades
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Operate the CATT Bid Alerts program, including collecting, reviewing, approving, and routing bid
requests
• Send transactional SMS messages related to a bid request or bid alert
• Respond to inquiries from homeowners, members, and the public
• Administer CATT membership and member services
• Improve our website and services
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing or promotional
messages.
SMS Communication & Consent
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS communications from Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT) related to your bid request, contractor enrollment, membership verification, trade category selection, service inquiries, appointments, follow-up messages, and/or CATT Bid Alert notifications.
Homeowners/property owners may opt in by texting BID to (530) 536-1115 to start a CATT bid request by SMS.
CATT member contractors may opt in by texting CONTRACTOR to (530) 536-1115 to start CATT Bid Alerts enrollment. Contractors must verify CATT membership, select trade categories, and confirm consent before Bid Alerts are enabled.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messaging. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Your mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent status will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We only use your information to provide and support our services.
Information Sharing
We may share your information only when necessary to:
• Operate the CATT Bid Alerts program, including (after CATT staff approval) sharing homeowner
bid request details with opted-in CATT member contractors in the relevant trade(s)
• Comply with legal obligations
• Operate the technology infrastructure that supports CATT Bid Alerts, including our service
provider Bedrok Systems (Bedrok Labs LLC), our SMS messaging carriers, and other service
providers acting on our behalf and bound to maintain the confidentiality of your information
We do not share your information for marketing purposes. Full homeowner contact information on the
bid detail page is gated by member-approved phone numbers; non-members cannot access homeowner
contact details and are routed to the CATT membership application.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You may:
• Request access to your personal information
• Request corrections to your information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from CATT

The CATT Bid Alerts program is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal

effective date. Continued use of the website or the CATT Bid Alerts program after an update constitutes
