The
Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT) is a regional,
non-profit trade association established in 1998. CATT has more
than 200 members representing all aspects of the building industry.
Members agree to abide by a Code of Ethics, setting a high standard
of performance.
CATT covers a wide geographic area: unincorporated
western Washoe County, Nevada (within the Tahoe Basin), unincorporated
eastern Placer County (including the Tahoe Basin portion), unincorporated
eastern Nevada County, and the Town of Truckee.
CATT is governed by a 15 member Board of Directors
who meet monthly. The Board’s diverse membership of general

a reflection of the organization’s diversity.
The organization offers a full array of benefits
and services to its members, including job referrals, continuing
education and training, issue monitoring and analysis, public
relations, communications network, recognition and awards, social
events, product discounts, etc.
The organization also interacts with the public,
disseminating consumer information produced by the regulatory
agencies and helping homeowners and others find reputable professionals
for residential and commercial jobs.
CATT has two full time paid professional staff
and an office in Truckee near the airport.
